| | Oops. Haven`t written an entry in a few days. Well anyway its good to have a job again, even though its only Burger King. I still haven`t been trained on register or Drive-Thru, but I know pretty much everything else. They only gave me 22 hours next week, which might be a problem. I`m trying to figure my entire projected income for the mission trip based on 22 hour weeks from now until the trip. I need a total of $1,500. Luckily, it looks like my last paycheck will come the day before the trip (I get paid bi-weekly.) Incidentally we are right this moment 2 months and 1 day from us being on the plane down. So, the math goes like this. This week I worked 12 hours.
Week of 14th - 20th = 22 Week of 21st - 27th = 22 Week of 28th - 3rd = 22 Week of 4th - 10th = 22 Week of 11th - 17th = 22 Week of 18th - 24th = 22 Week of 25th - 1st = 22 Week of 2nd - 8th = 22
22 x 8 = 176 hours + 12 = 188 x 6.15 = $1,156.20 Gross. Then for Taxes, total taken away from my Acme pay was 10 - 15%, so 1156.20 x .15 = 173.43. 1156.20 - 173.43 = 982.77 (hopefully) take home. This still sets me behind by 517.23. Hopefully my tax return will come in time which should be in the 380 range, nocking down what I still need to roughly 127.23, but I don`t know how possible that is. Also this is based on assumptions. Assumptions that she won`t cut back my hours. A few weeks of 18 hours could screw this up a lot. However, if she decides to give me MORE hours, that`d help a lot. Also, I might get a pay raise in 30 days at my performance review, so that would help a lot.
Its interesting keeping a Xanga because now I can tell you exactly what I was doing last year on this day. Lets take a look back on:
This day in 2005!
This is the exact entry I wrote exactly one year ago.

Well, I woke up and took the dogs out (I write this almost every day....) I lead a boring life. Wait, I don`t have one. I watched some T.V. and played some Yahoo! Pool, talked to some people on AIM and then watched even more T.V. At about 12, I dragged my bike out and headed down to the Youth Building. Took longer than I had originally expected due to the fact that I took what would be a short cut had I been in a car and could go uphill at a decent speed. Did some painting. Greg and Heather were there, and we talked a bit, as we worked. Lauren arrived, and she helped Heather painting on the Drywall. I was working in the kitchen, primering (that dosen`t look like a word) the walls. Some funny stuff went down. Can`t remember it anymore. Apparently, Heather has a Xanga, but I don`t know what her username is. I`ve been wondering this: Am I the only loser who updates their Xanga every day? Except for the time period I was at the Youth Building, I thought about *her* a lot. Which is normal. Watched the Series Finale of Enterprise. I despise UPN for destroying a great series. http://www.trekunited.com/ http://www.saveenterprise.com/. The episodes themselves were good, except they shouldn`t have happened for another 6 years (the show is in it`s fourth year, the episode is as if it was in its tenth year.) Well, now i`m watching the series premier of Law & Order: Trial By Jury (It`s season finale was last week, so they started it over for reruns.)
Love, Fear, Pain, Sorrow
"Sorrow fills my mind Sorrow rooted inside Planted by not being with you Fed by inability to tell you The love I have inside me For fear of what your response might be Pain inside grows just as fast The pain I wish would not last But it won`t simply go away This pain inside is here to stay Until the day comes when I tell Of the day, in love I fell And how i`ve loved you since that day The pain will remain, never going away"
